Early elementary to advanced pre-college students are welcome to participate!
Note: Teachers who are not part of HMTA/PTF are welcome to pay a $20 non-member fee to enroll their students in the Festival.
Students will record their pieces (with no editing of any kind permitted) with appropriate camera angle and sound. The students profile, piano keyboard, and pedaling apparatus should be visible. Performances will be uploaded privately to Youtube. All materials will be electronically handled. All participants receive constructive feedback from professional judges, as well as an e-certificate. Students receiving high marks in their assessment will receive a trophy.

1) Read and download the Piano e-Festival Procedures & Guidelines informational packet 2) Fill out Online Solo and Duet Registration forms for each student entry. To begin another application after submitting one, click "submit another response." 3) Fill out Online Teacher Participation Form and calculate total festival fee for your studio 4) Submit electronic payment to HMTA below (via Paypal)
Note: If, for whatever reason, your student cannot participate in the e-festival, notice must be given to the e-festival coordinators two weeks prior to the date of video submission, in order to receive a refund. No refunds will be given for student who decide to not participate after this date.
Please calculate the total for your studio participants and pay HMTA via Paypal.
Festival Fees (updated 2020) $20 per solo student/duet pair $20 additional fee for non-HMTA teachers who would like to enter students into the e-Festival
3) Video & Score Submission Form
Deadline for student video submission is April 10, 2021.
1) Record your 2 chosen pieces for the e-Festival 2) Upload them "unlisted" to Youtube 3) Copy links and paste them into the form 4) Submit score upload (scan, pdf, or image) 5) Submit this form with all necessary information
