Location: Lehman Auditorium, Recital Hall, EMU Refreshments provided by the hospitality committee were offered starting at 9:30 AM. Members also signed a card for the event's presenter. At 10 AM Dr. Steinberg began the meeting. He introduced Dr. David Berry to the audience and welcomed any new members and visitors. Around 15 people were in attendance. Dr. Berry gave an enthusiastic presentation about his creative process in arranging and publishing his book of original piano hymn arrangements. He discussed his musical inspirations, the compositional and editing process, and the business aspect behind this project. He played several excerpts from his arrangements. After a brief question-and-answer session, Dr. Berry treated the audience to a performance of his virtuoso piano transcription of "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho."
