Eloise Kornicke holds a Ph.D. in Piano/Pedagogy/Music Education from Indiana University where she received a University Fellowship; a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Indiana University; and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Biola University in Southern California. She also has completed graduate study at the University of Southern California (USC) where she studied piano with Daniel Pollack. Dr. Kornicke has lectured on the topics of sight-reading, physiology, great pianists and duet literature in various locations across the country. In addition, she has performed in faculty recitals at Mary Baldwin College and community events such as pianist for Carmina Burana with the Waynesboro Schola Cantorum, and summer Music/Bible Conferences at Massanetta. Dr. Kornicke has also participated in panel discussions, judged competitions, and served as state chair for auditions for the New York Music Teachers Association. She taught at Mary Baldwin University for 10 years, and and has served as Director of Music for various chruches in New Jersey & Waynesboro, VA. Dr. Kornicke currently maintains a large private studio. Some of her students have continued their music education at the college and graduate levels and are serving in various capacities in the field of music.
